When did you start vaping?
26th August 2021 I officially vaped.
How much did you used to smoke?
I smoked between 60 to 80 a day. Family of chain smokers so that didn’t help.
How much did you spend on smoking?
Each week I could easily spend £50 to £80 a week on tobacco.
What made you want to quit?
Me and my friends found out her mum was diagnosed with lung cancer stage 2, happily in remission so all five of us gave up together. Only me that stayed off the fags…
How did you find out about vaping?
Years ago I tried to vape and never found the right one to suit me. So I started on disposable elf’s. So after 3 weeks on those I went into island vape on welly road and the lovely Charna sold me the zelos 3 and a few months later I met Jae at billing and got the flexus.
Started on the zelos 3, then flexus and now the xlimV2.
What was your first struggles with vaping?
For me it was finding the right type to vape. I didn’t want a big mod but still packed a punch and flavour. Disposables were good but didn’t help me stop fully. I still smoked 20 a day while still being on the disposals.
I never understood that there was different types of vaping till I started shopping with island vape. Back in 2012 I got a typhoon aspire ( from the one near Argos, and that lasted 3 days lol still have it. And that was a DTL mod.
How did your vaping journey change?
From smoking so many fags a day to now… I feel more energetic and I can belt out a scream when I see live bands with out being completely breathless after 3 seconds, it’s definitely saved me money but more importantly I feel healthier in my self and proud of where I have got to.
What do you think about the ups and downs of the propaganda of vaping?
Vaping will over take and smoking will be out dated eventually (if not already). But disposables should come to an end as for the amount of waste they produce and not much of it can be recycled.
What is your current favourite set ups?
My number one mods are the xlim v2 (my MTL device) and drag x (can happy do both which is classed as RTL(I think the fact that it can also have a larger tank and can take many different coils…
won’t catch you out on a rainy day). Both small, sleek and gives lots of flavour either way.
What is your current favourite Juices?
I love my berries but lately I have branched out to peach berry major flavour, but still old time favourites are mejusa cherry drops and urban avenue
